Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch. The Palace is a setting for state occasions, royal entertaining, and is a major tourist attraction. Popular Article: Lee Shapiro

Lee Shapiro
Lee Shapiro (1949–1987) was an American documentary filmmaker. His one feature-length film, Nicaragua Was Our Home, was released in 1986. It was filmed in Nicaragua among the Miskitos who were then fighting against Nicaraguan government forces. In 1987, Shapiro and fellow filmmaker Jim Lindelof were killed while filming in Afghanistan during the Soviet–Afghan War. Their desire was to bring the suffering of the Afghan people to the attention of the world. While it took a further 20 years for this to happen, their sacrifice for the sake of those unable to tell their own tragic story bore fruit finally due to the efforts of Shapiro's friends.
