Dr. Theodore Shimmyo is a member of ''New World Encyclopedia's'' Editorial Board. He serves as Senior Research Fellow at the international headquarters of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) in Tarrytown, New York. From 1995 to 2000 he was President of the Unification Theological Seminary, Barrytown, New York, succeeding President Emeritus David Sang Chul Kim. Dr. Shimmyo has taught Christian theology, philosophy, Unification theology, and Spirituality classes there from 1985. After he became president in 1995, UTS was accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
