David Burgess is a New World Encyclopedia area editor, responsible for the areas of Art and Literature, Politics, and Sports and Leisure. Dr. Burgess holds a B.A. in Political Science and a second B.A. in Comparative Literature, an M.A.I.S. in Comparative Religion and a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature.
