To whom it may concern:
Is there a reason for not having an article on Roman Catholicism (as you do on Judaism, Islam, major Protestant denominations [ Baptists, Anglican/Episcopalians, Methodists, etc])?
After all, the current vice president, 5 out of the 9 Supreme Court justices, 24% of the American population profess that faith.
And think of the contributions of all the explorers of Catholic background — Ponce De Leon, Marquette, Columbus, De Soto; and the contributions of Catholic artists, musicians, writers over the centuries; and the Spanish Catholic names of American CA cities, etc., to say nothing of the contributions of Palladio (Palladian architecture) to Jefferson’s sensibilities. Catholicism has contributed so much!
Do I detect bias or laziness? Sincerely, J.Chichetto

Think, too, of the contributions of explorers of Catholic background like Cabot, Columbus, de Soto, Ponce de Leon, etc.; think of
American cities of Spanish Catholic names (Sacramento, Los Angeles, Santa Fe, San Jose, San Francisco, etc.); think of Palladio’s architectural contributions to Jefferson; think of all the artists, writers, musicians who have contributed to humankind over the centuries who were Catholic background ( Beethoven, Cezanne, Michaelangelo, Dante, Titian, etc.) Do I detect bias or laziness? During the Cold War, the USA did not become a defender of democracy! They tried to stop the spread of comunism only. The Condor Operation in South America is a vivid example of their role in the world at that time.
