Just a quick note to tell you that your information re the portrait of the Ladies Catherine and Charlotte Talbot is incorrect. It hangs in the National Gallery of Ireland and was bought by them from the sa.le of the contents of Malahide Castle, Co. Dublin in 1976. It was painted by John Michael Wright in Dublin

Thank you for your comment. You are correct that the portrait is not in the Tate Gallery. The caption has been changed to the National Gallery of Ireland.
