The article cites “Hans Jonas” as one of the scholars who sparked new interest in John Dewey since the 1970’s. That’s a typo–Hans J-o-a-s is working on Dewey in Berlin. Hans J-O-N-A-S was a philosopher-historian whose project may have distant affinities with Dewey’s, but only very, very distant. And Jonas took no interest whatsoever in Dewey or any other of the Pragmatists.
