Re: New World Encyclopedia “Feedback”: Jesus of Nazareth: Christiology sentence ..word/ context error: “Paul began to develop a theology of Jesus as the ‘new Adam who comes to restore the sin of the first Adam'”. (1 Cor. 15:45-49, Rom. 5:12-19).

The problem is with the concept of ” to restore the sin..”, which should be “to redeem the sin of mankind caused by the first Adam “. This is a most serious error, in my opinion, and to the Christian community, but I do not know how to do what Wiki requires to “edit” IF they are able to
understand the seriousness of this error of fact to my religion. I hope to hear from someone about this issue.

God bless you, Lynda

I am impressed in general about this article. However, I have a few suggestions, especially regarding citations:
– in “Jesus and John the Baptist”: there is no reference to Malachi regarding the necessity for the appearance of Elijah when the Messiah comes.
– in “Jesus in Other Faiths: Judaism” regarding Jesus healing on the Sabbath and the Talmud opting for Jesus’s position, this tantalizing idea should be footnoted. Likewise, the opinion of Joseph Klausner should be footnoted.
Thank You!

“Soon after, Peter, who was Jesus’ chief disciple, confessed that he believed Jesus was the Messiah, the “Son of the Living God” (Matt. 17:16).” — The bible verse does not refer to the Messianic Secret.

Thank you, Ricardo, for your comment. You are correct, Matthew 17:16 is the wrong verse. It is in Matthew 16:16 that Peter states that he believed Jesus to be the Messiah. That typo will be corrected.
