Dear Hollie Brighton,

Kindly forgive the lateness of our reply.

In answer to your worthy question, our research found that Hestia is one of the three great goddesses of the first Olympian generation, along with Demeter and Hera. She was described as both the oldest and youngest of the three daughters of Rhea and Cronus, sister to three brothers Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. As the first to be swallowed by Cronus she was also the last to be disgorged, and so was named as both the eldest and youngest of the six Kronides.
