Hello! I decided to leave this feedback after examining this article and noticing that several details seemed to be outdated. For instance, in the section “Opposition”, we have:

a) “The United States Armed Forces’ “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy requires gay men and lesbians to be discharged from the armed forces if they come out, but does not allow the military to specifically question people about their sexual orientation.” However, this policy was repealed in 2010 under President Barack Obama, effectively ending the ban on homosexuals in the military. See more details at https://www.britannica.com/topic/gay-rights-movement and https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/features/stonewall-milestones-american-gay-rights-movement/

b) “Religious and philosophical – […] Although homosexuality is outlawed in India, there are no specific references to it in the Hindu Vedas.” However, homosexuality was legalized in India in 2018 after India’s Supreme Court unanimously ruled to decriminalize homosexual sex. See more details at https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/sep/06/indian-supreme-court-decriminalises-homosexuality and https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics-and-nation/sc-delivers-historic-verdict-section-377-gone-being-gay-no-more-a-crime-in-india/articleshow/65696771.cms

I strongly recommend that this whole article be reviewed and updated so that it can be once again a reliable source of information. Thank you!
