The claim of persian rule over any part of ancient India has been rejected by Strabo even before the common era.

Thank you, Vidyadhara, for your comment. However, your claim that there was no Persian rule over any part of India seems inaccurate. Gandhara and Kamboja are recorded as part of the Achaemenid Empire, constituting the seventh satrapy. Gandara (Gandhara) is listed on the inscription of the tomb of Darius I (Darius the Great).
