Hi, could you please tell me the source which mentions Austronesians with “large eyes, flat nose and tattooed bodies”

Thank you for your question. That quote comes from an article by Kwang-chih Chang and Ward H. Goodenough in Transactions of the American Philosophical Society (1996) and is cited in the book “Emergent Lingua Francas and World Orders: The Politics and Place of English as a World Language” by Phyllis Ghim-Lian Chew. The citation has been added to the article.
