On the website http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Eastern_Europe there is a mistake:
it is written: as well as the Slavic republics of Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine.

Moldova is not a Slavic republic!

Thank you, Yefim, for your feedback. You are quite correct that Moldova is not a Slavic republic. The text will be revised to make the correction.

The wording “The Ukraine” is incorrect. “The” is not part of its official name in English.

Hi. A small but significant contextual typo. It’s Baltic states not Baltic States. The capital letter of the word “States” refers that it’s a country but these are three separate countries. Better yet, it’s clearer to say and write “Baltic countries” not “Baltic states” to avoid misinterpretation that tese three countries are one single state like for instance United States.

Thank you, Margus, for your comment. Indeed the term “Baltic States” is incorrect and misleading. That will be corrected. Thank you again for taking the time to help make NWE a valuable information resource.
