Hello,
A suggestion for the External links on this entry, offered as one addition rather than a replacement for anything already there.
The entry describes Cactaceae as a family of close to 2,000 species across the Americas, but the external links sit heavily in one corner of it. 3 of 5 of those are North American desert sites, two of those about saguaro specifically, and one covers the dietary use of nopal. Nothing in the section lets a reader browse the family by genus, and the South American genera that carry much of its diversity, Copiapoa, Gymnocalycium, Parodia, Rebutia, Discocactus and Uebelmannia, etc. are not represented at all.
I’d like to recommend our encyclopedia: https://rarecactus.com/encyclopedia/, which is organized by genus, with habitat and range, accepted taxonomy per Kew’s Plants of the World Online, IUCN conservation status where assessed, and cultivation notes.
