the topic which you published about bimbisara and his relation with empire Ashoka is wrong. Ashoka’s father was BINDHUSARA not bimbisara, bimbisara was much early than he Mauryan empire. bimbisara was a aggressive towards expansoin and violent unlike bindhusara. please correct it

Thank you for your comment. Indeed, Ashoka’s father was Bindusara, not Bimbisara. As the article states, Bimbisara’s son was Ajatashatru. I cannot find anywhere in our article that refers to Bimbisara as Ashoka’s father.
Perhaps your confusion comes from an unclear sentence referring to Ashoka’s grandfather, Chandragupta Maurya. I will revise that sentence.

“Bimbisara’s murder resulted in a war between the king of Kosala, on behalf of his grieving daughter, and Ajatashatru”
In the you said,”on behalf of his grieving daughter” but it is his sister. Try to correct it.

Thank you, Abhinash, for your comment. You are correct that Bimbisara was married to the King of Kosala’s sister. It was Bibmisara’s son, Ajatashatru, who married the daughter of the King of Kosala. The text will be revised accordingly.
Thank you again for taking the time to help make NWE a valuable information resource.
