The Scandinavian Peninsula is a peninsula located at the northwest corner of Europe and bounded by the Gulf of Bothnia, the Baltic Sea, the Kattegat, the Skagerrak, the North Sea, the Norwegian Sea and the Barents Sea. It extends from Russia and Finland in the north-east, and the southernmost part reaches out east of the Danish Straits towards Germany and Poland.
