Dear Editors,
I wonder where did you find the information that the Kingdom of Yugoslavia as an original member of the League of Nations left the League and later rejoined. The UN web site dealing with the League does not contain such an information. Yugoslavia was not listed among those states that left the League. If you refer to the fact that Yugoslavia was occupied in 1941 by Nazi Germany, this situation cannot be construed under the international law as leaving the League.
I suggest the information on Yugoslavia’s membership in the League be corrected accordingly.

Your point is well taken, and I believe you are correct that the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, a founding member, did not leave the League of Nations and rejoin under any different name or status. The article will be corrected to reflect Yugoslavia’s continuous membership.
