There is absolutely no evidence that Jim Morrison died in 1971 and plenty that he faked his death. None of the band members nor Jim’s family came to the funeral in Paris. This is because they had grown weary of his antic of claiming that he would fake his death. The Dr. who signed the death certificate for the most famous celebrity of the day has never conducted a public interview discussing the “autopsy”. Jim revealed himself to several of his neighbors in rural Oregon USA in the late 90s. Pictures of how Jim appeared then can be found at http://www.highmountainrogue.com. It was created by David Logan whose father was best friends with radio personality Paul Harvey. Ray Manzarek and the DOORS have been asked through letters and interviews to give a serious reply as to who Oregon Jim is and they decline. In 2006 they scheduled a concert up in rurual OR perhaps to try to solicit Jim to come out on their terms. The concert was cancelled.
Jim’s currently calls himself BILL LOYER. He has been contacted by many who love him and know him to be alive including Cliff Morrison (his alleged son) who plays in a band with Waylon Krieger (Robby’s son). He is married to Marsha who is a retired medical doctor and who joins in the frustration of being shunned by the Doors’ manager Jeff Jampool.
