Hur is also found in german where it carries a negative connotation , essentially “whore” , it is to be found in arabic , german and also italian

Thank you, Banyat, for your feedback. Indeed in many languages similar words of Proto-Indo-European root mean “whore,” which is unfortunate as they have no etymological connection to “houri.”
