This article neglects to mention modern day headhunting in Mexico and the middle east where terrorists decapitate abductees.

Thank you, SA, for your feedback. Decapitation or beheading is not considered the same as headhunting, which includes the preservation of the head following the decapitation. I was not aware of modern day headhunting in Mexico, other than in the form of recruitment for employment, or executive search. Still, the Mesoamerican cultures did practice headhunting as well as the creation of shrunken heads, a point which will be clarified in the article.
