There are numerous errors in this article, for example: Boucher was a private teacher for C.C., not a teacher at Colarossi’s. CC did not lose a child through an accident, she had at least one abortion (Delbée’s book is a novel, not a biography, she can invent whatever she wants). CC never was engaged to Debussy, they were friends and only friends. Her father (not her brother) supported her. The war and other matters prevented Jessie Lipscomb from visiting CC. Jessie was one of the few people allowed to visit CC (no opposition from the family), etc,…
