I am not that knowledgeable about this topic. I was just wondering, did all of the people who were killed, killed on the day of Ashura or on separate days?
Thanks!

The Battle of Karbala took place on a single day, Ashura. All of those killed were killed on that day.

The first paragraph of the article contains two errors. The first one, in line two states “Prophets of Islam”. Islam had only one Prophet named Muhammad, and net several as conveyed by the connected sentence. The second error is in the following part of the opening sentence of the article:

“between the Prophets of Islam, led by Muhammad’s grandson Husayn ibn Ali, and a military detachment from the forces of Yazid I, the second Umayyad caliph.”

The correct situation is “between the Islamic prophet Muhammad’s grandson Husayn ibn Ali and a military detachment from the forces of Yazid I, the Umayyad caliph.” Please see wikipedia article at https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Battle_of_Karbala&oldid=60600460

Further to my comment above. Your original write up correctly states that Yazid I was the second Umayyad caliph.
