Dinshaw Dadachanji is an editor for the Physical Sciences area of the New World Encyclopedia.

Dr. Dadachanji earned his M.S. degree from the Chemistry Department of the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, India, followed by the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. He taught Chemistry and Biochemistry courses at several colleges in Connecticut, after which he worked as a science editor for The World & I magazine in Washington, DC. Since 2004, he has been working in a freelance capacity, editing and writing articles in science and technology, orienting the articles especially toward lay readers.
