For the past seven years, I took a break from college teaching and worked in the field of college consulting. I decided to return to teaching and writing this year, while continuing with college consulting. At the same time as teaching for the University of Bridgeport IDEAL program, I am working on the online New World Encyclopedia project. My passion is developing the plan for a Peace Campus, creating a Course on Happiness that I expect to offer through the University of Bridgeport next summer, and writing a manuscript on the coming of the Kingdom of God. The best time of my day every day is spend in the morning with mediation, reflection, and reading. I try to keep up the interests of my youth; drums, hiking, bicycling, swimming, and bowling.  Next to morning devotions and study, my favorite time of day is taking a walk through our neighboring fields and forests with my wife, Sunhee, and our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Cayman.

My Korean wife, Sunhee, and I have been married for twenty eight years.  We live together with our college senior daughter who attends Marist College.  We are blessed with a house situated in a beautiful forest and I enjoy spending most my time working from home. My wife works as Dean of Students at the Unificiation Theological Seminary in Barrytown. Our other daughter lives in Seattle, Washington.
