Your information is partly outdated and partly inaccurate. Ahmad Tejan Kabbah has not been president since 2007. “Leoa” or “Lyoa” in Portuguese means “lioness” not “lion” although the name was later changed to the masculine in Italian.

The CIA World Factbook is not generally accurate regarding statistics here. No census has ever asked questions relating to ethnicity (or tribe) or religion. A recent BBC media survey which asked the question of religion incidentally to its main aim suggests that Christians number just over 30%. No person I have ever met in 30+ years claims to be anything but Christian or Muslim (or in the case of the small Indian minority, Hindu).

The drawing of Bai Bureh on your site is outdated. It has been replaced by a geninuine photograph of Bai Bureh take in 1898 and presented to President Ernest Bai Koroma last May.
