It was by a strange coincidence that we got to spend an unscheduled night here (landslides of course). Earlier baba Poonam Giri of Gangotri had warned me of snakes at Gangnani - for no apparent rhyme or reason since we were not 'supposed' to stop here anyway..however, i did not see any snake, but discovered these wonderfully hot waters and the very amiable and pleasant Panditji of the Parashar temple just above. He was building a hanuman temple then...I hope he keeps well and smiling as ever..
