To Whom It May Concern,
In this article it mentions a Julius Rosenthal as one of the founders of the NAACP. Julius Rosenthal passed away in 1905 prior to the founding of the NAACP in 1909.
In discussions with both the NAACP and Northwestern University archivists neither had any information on Julius Rosenthal being part of the NAACP.
Could you please provide me with the source of your information about Julius Rosenthal’s involvement with the forming of the NAACP?

I could not find any reference to the involvement of Julius Rosenthal in the NAACP, nor could I locate any citation in the earlier versions of the article. Therefore, his name will be removed from the text.
